ready to prepare for the unknown - endure the unknown - conquer the unknown? race rogue is a rugged, gritty run race designed to challenge runners physically. athletes will have no knowledge of the run course location, elevation gains, or distance until race day. this running race experience promises to test your limits in beautiful, scenic locales sure to nourish the soul while testing the body's physical limits. it will keep runners guessing at every corner, grunting at every climb, screaming at every descent, and wishing at every turn that the finish line will be in sight. location: UNKNOWN to racer** ** location of race is located within a 20 mile radius of Dorney Park - Allentown, Pa distance: you'll find out when you cross the finish line start time: UNKNOWN to racer** ** start time of the race will be disclosed at noon the day before the race elevation +/- : UNKNOWN to racer race format: strictly a running race terrain: OFF-ROAD difficulty: Yes weather: praying for rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, hail, and high winds prep bag: this bag is a bag that should be put together prior to race. since the time and distance are unknown we are giving you a heads up of what you might need for the race. make sure you bring anything you might think you need as well. the prep bag should include: poncho, running shoes, 1 raw egg, lighter, hydration, nutrition, running headlamp, ziplock bag, and chapstick - this bag needs to be brought with you on race day and will be checked. cost: $40 - CLICK HERE to register age requirement: 18 & OLDER awards: CASH PRIZES |
athletes will need to register for this event (see tab above) prior to the event, there will be no race day entries. the race field is also going to be capped, so don't wait to sign-up. on Friday March 23rd 2018 all runners will be told a time and the place to meet. packet pick up will start at this point and followed by a race briefing and the race will start. the excitement will begin, the suffering will start, and the anxiousness to see the finish line will be eminent. when the athletes are done racing there will be a festival gathering with food, music, cheering for fellow runners still on the course, and awards.
