Structure of Program - This program is structured to prepare our athletes for their High School or Middle School XC Seasons.  We will be utilizing Muhlenberg College or Lehigh University Track once a week for speed workouts and other locations to work on different cross-country skills throughout our training - for example hill work, threshold workouts, tempo runs, interval work, long runs, etc.  We will typically be training together 4x's week.  A weekly running program will be given to every athlete to guide our runners when we aren't practicing together.  There will be 3 races we will be competing in - they aren't mandatory, but they are FUN!!  I would highly recommend them to all of our runners.

Time:  Will vary slightly but roughly - 500-730pm (practice 1 500-630pm and practice 2 600-730pm) - there will be two practice groups one for our older more experienced runners and one for our younger runners.  Athletes will be put in groups within their practices based on performance and ability level.  Once you register your athlete and the schedule is finalized the information will be sent out
Location:  We will utilize Muhlenberg College or Lehigh University Track and other local locations in the Lehigh Valley to vary our training (hills, grass, cinders, trail, long runs, etc)
Equipment:  Athletes will be required to bring water and/or electrolyte drinks to stay hydrated, bring training shoes, racing flats/spikes (if they have them)
Races: We are going to utilize the LVRR Summer Running Series to compete in and the Gring's Mill 5K - again races are not mandatory

PLEASE NOTE:  LVRR Races are free - you will just need to register your athlete to compete
